Víctor Suárez Renuncia al PLD en Medio de Proclamación de Abel Martínez
Víctor Suárez, un destacado miembro del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), ha anunciado oficialmente su renuncia a esta influyente organización política. Su declaración se ha producido coincidiendo con la proclamación de Abel Martínez como el candidato presidencial del partido.
Suárez, quien ha dedicado 28 años de servicio ininterrumpido al PLD y ha ocupado varios cargos importantes dentro de la organización, no estuvo presente en el acto de proclamación de Abel Martínez. Su ausencia se debió a su profundo desacuerdo con la dirección y las decisiones recientes del partido.
En un comunicado oficial, Suárez detalló que su renuncia se fundamenta en su desvinculación con el candidato presidencial proclamado y su falta de identificación con la dirección actual del partido. Además, expresó su descontento por el proceso de designación del candidato a alcalde, la gestión de la dirigencia local en el ámbito senatorial, y la exclusión injusta de varios aspirantes de su preferencia de la boleta congresual en la demarcación de Santiago.
En sus palabras, Suárez afirmó: «Donde mi corazón no esté, no debo seguir». Con esta renuncia, marca el fin de una carrera política que se extendió a lo largo de casi tres décadas de compromiso partidario.
Además de anunciar su renuncia al PLD, Víctor Suárez también dio a conocer su dimisión a los siguientes cargos dentro del partido:
- Presidente de Comité de Base.
- Miembro del Comité Central.
- Miembro del Comité Político.
- Secretario de Asuntos Internacionales.
- Enlace de Campaña en Europa.
El político concluyó su mensaje expresando su aprecio y cariño a todas sus amistades personales, a los empleados de la Casa Nacional, a los Comités de Base en cada demarcación y a la mayoría de los miembros del Comité Político del PLD.
Con un emotivo «Adiós», Víctor Suárez pone fin a su prolongada trayectoria en el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana y abre un nuevo capítulo en su carrera política.
