Roberto Ángel Salcedo, director de los Programas Especiales de la Presidencia (Propep), anunció en un encuentro con la prensa de Santo Domingo Este que se están gestando intervenciones extraordinarias para este municipio en los próximos meses. Estas intervenciones están diseñadas para hacer de Santo Domingo Este el protagonista de importantes acciones que se enfocarán en dos aspectos fundamentales para la juventud: la cultura y el deporte.
Aunque Salcedo no brindó detalles específicos en este momento, adelantó que se trata de grandes acciones que impulsarán el desarrollo de la juventud y que serán ejecutadas desde la Dirección de Proyectos Especiales de la Presidencia. Estas iniciativas prometen tener un impacto significativo en la vida de los residentes de Santo Domingo Este.
Además, Salcedo señaló que se integrarán de manera decidida a los trabajos que coincidirán con las disciplinas deportivas que competirán en este municipio en los Juegos Centroamericanos del 2026.
