¿Cómo debe elegir el PLD su candidato presidencial?

Lo primero que debe hacer el PLD es elegir su candidato presidencial a más tardar en el tercer trimestre del año 2022, pero la ley electoral solo permite las primarias de los partidos el año previo a las elecciones.

Una primaria en septiembre u octubre del 2023 les daría demasiadas ventajas a los otros dos partidos, que al día de hoy ya tienen candidatos presidenciales definidos.

El peor negocio que podría realizar el PLD, sería organizar una guerra interna en que los aspirantes presidenciales gasten los escasos recursos del partido en una canibalización, en el cual el candidato electo  termine con su imagen en  cuidados intensivos y su moral  en  una silla de ruedas.

Una primaria a un año o menos de las elecciones no es tiempo suficiente para curar heridas surgidas en un certamen interno, en que chocarán el grupo que quizá tenga ligera ventaja a nivel de estructura interna, contra el equipo encabezado por la persona  más conocida de ese partido y de mayor aceptación en la sociedad.

El único método democrático que permite la ley electoral para elegir con tiempo el candidato presidencial de un partido son las encuestas.

El procedimiento menos traumático en elecciones reñidas de candidatos  son las encuestas, porque al no enfrentarse  militantes  en torno a un recinto electoral es más fácil hacer las paces entre seguidores de ambos bandos, además los que resultaran no electos se repondrían más rápido, porque en la metodología de encuestas no gastan  ni siquiera el 1% de lo que se pierde en una primaria.

Sí el PLD elige el  candidato presidencial y al postulante a la alcaldía de Santo Domingo Este por medio de encuestas, ese partido recuperará en el mes del amor y la amistad   su  ciudad más grande del país y en mayo    le daría como regalo a una persona que desde la presidencia ame a su pueblo como la madre de todos los dominicanos.
