Los familiares de la adolescente fallecida Esmeralda Richiez, informaron que contrataron un nuevo abogado para que los represente en el caso que acusan al profesor John Kelly Martínez de la muerte de la joven.
Adelantaron que ofrecerán una rueda de prensa este miércoles, a las 9:00 de la mañana, para dar a conocer algunos detalles sobre el caso.
Yurimar Richiez, hermana de la fallecida, informó que, a partir de ahora, contarán con los servicios del abogado Julio César Silvestre, quien representará a familia.
Hasta ahora los abogados que representaban la familia Richiez eran Juan Francisco Guerrero Mármolejos y Raymundo Rosario.
Agregó que la rueda de prensa se llevara a cabo luego de que termine el interrogatorio en cámara de la única menor de edad vinculada al caso que falta por ofrecer su versión, por lo que los medios de comunicación han sido invitados.
La decisión de la familia ocurre un día después que el principal acusado se le impuso medida de coerción de un año de prisión preventiva y a su primo, Rubiel Morrillo Martínez, presentación periódica e impedimento de salida.
La magistrada Francis Yojaris Reyes Diloné, del Juzgado de Atención Permanente, dictó prisión preventiva contra John Kelly Martínez, quien se entregó al día siguiente de la muerte de la adolescente.
Martínez está imputado por la violación de los artículos 265, 266, 295, 303 y 331 del Código Penal Dominicano, sobre Violencia de Género e Intrafamiliar, cumplirá la prisión en el Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación (CCR) Anamuya, de Higüey.
Mientras que Morrillo Martínez, primo del imputado, enfrenta cargos por su complicidad y fue sometido a la justicia por la violación de los artículos 59, 60, 265, 266, 295, 302 y 331 de dicho
