Danilo Medina dice delito que ha cometido el PLD es haber servido a los más pobres

El expresidente Danilo Medina aseguró que el único delito que cometió el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana durante sus diferentes gobiernos fue el de “haber servido desinteresadamente a los más débiles” de República Dominicana.

El exmandatario afirmó, además, que durante su gestión se reconstruyeron todos los hospitales del país y que no había un centro de salud privado que ofreciera mejor servicio que los públicos.

“El delito que hemos cometido en la República Dominicana es haber servido desinteresadamente a los más débiles, a los más vulnerables, ese es el delito que ha cometido trabajar por lo que menos tienen”, indicó el exmandatario durante una actividad del PLD que encabezó en La Vega.

En la actual gestión del presidente Luis Abinader se ha detenido por acusación de corrupción a más de 20 exfuncionarios de la gestión de Medina.

 

Entre los que actualmente responden a las imputaciones son dos de sus hermanos, que son Juan Alexis Medina Sánchez, quien está en la cárcel, y Carmen Magalys Medina Sánchez, exvicepresidenta del Fondo Patrimonial de las Empresas Reformadas (Fonper), a la que se le dictó prisión domiciliaria. Ambos están sometidos por la Operación Antipulpo, a la que se la atribuye haber desfalcado al Estado con casi cinco mil millones de pesos.
