En plena sesión diputado anuncia que tiene COVID

El diputado de la provincia Monte Plata, Román de Jesús Vargas, informó en plena sesión de la Cámara de Diputados que está contagiado del COVID-19.

Posteriormente a ser aprobado el estado de emergencia, el diputado pidió un turno para hablar, donde informó al hemiciclo que está contagiado del virus.

«Quiero anunciarles, decirles que debemos de cuidarnos, el tema es más delicado de lo que imaginamos, en este momento nosotros salimos positivos con el coronavirus, tenemos aquí la información, colega cuidémonos, nos retiramos, pero esto es en serio”, anunció el legislador.

Inmediatamente hizo el anuncio, el resto de sus colegas comenzaron a mirarse entre ellos, algunos salieron de la sala y hubo un momento de escándalo en la sala de la Asamblea Nacional, donde está sesionando la Cámara Baja, como una medida para evitar los contagios.

Con este nuevo positivo, actualmente la Cámara Baja tiene al menos 13 legisladores con COVID-19, ya que el presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Alfredo Pacheco, anunció momentos después que un legislador se había recuperado.
