Una importante firma encuestadora entrevistó a 1436 personas   en las 15 provincias más grandes del país, incluyendo el Distrito Nacional con una única pregunta  ¿ Quién ganará la consulta del PLD?

En esa pregunta abierta no mencionaron los nombres de los candidatos y para sorpresa de  quienes tabularon los resultado, el ganador fue el doctor Leonel Fernández.

Volvieron a medir y cambiaron la pregunta ¿ Quien será el candidato o la candidata presidencial del PLD en el 2024? Y ganó  Leonel Fernández.

Los directivos de la firma cambiaron el personal que recolecta los datos y esta vez con dos preguntas, la primera por el partido de su simpatía y si respondía un partido diferente al PLD  no hacían la segunda pregunta  que era de manera cerrada y que las personas escogieran   entre  Domínguez Brito, Maritza Hernández,  Abel Martínez, Margarita  y Karen.

Entre eso que dijeron simpatizar por el PLD,  no ganó, pero quedó en segundo lugar  tres votos de diferencia  de la ganadora de la encuesta  porque los ciudadanos mencionaban su nombre de manera espontanea y cuando le decían que debían escoger uno de la lista,  se regaban como la cosa aquella
