En esta semana al menos seis figuras públicas o vinculadas al Gobierno han reportado positividad de coronavirus Covid-19 y forman parte de los más de 20,000 casos activos de coronavirus en República Dominicana.

El caso más reciente es del monseñor Jesús Castro Marte, quien informó este viernes que había dado positivo al Covid-19. El obispo electo de la Diócesis de Nuestra Señora de La Altagracia en Higüey alertó a las personas a que tomen las precauciones de lugar para evitar el contagio.

Hasta el momento Castro Marte está  bajo en aislamiento domiciliario y en supervisión médica constante.

Este jueves el comunicador y presentador del Show del Mediodía, Iván Ruiz, dijo que su prueba PCR había dado positivo.

«Hoy llegaron las pruebas y dieron positivo, tanto Laura, mi compañera, como nosotros, hoy temprano el doctor Cruz Jiminián me llamó y dimos positivo», indicó en sus redes sociales.

Hasta la tarde de ayer jueves Ruiz era asintomático y su estado de ánimo era bueno.

Horas después de haber anunciado su renuncia como director del Servicio Nacional de Salud, Chanel Rosa Chupany señaló que era positivo al coronavirus

 

Agradecer de corazón todos sus comentarios, en un hecho que nada tiene que ver con mi decisión anterior, esta tarde he sido notificado como positivo al Covid-19”, tuiteó Chupany este miércoles.

Después de diagnóstico ha estado en aislamiento domiciliario y recibiendo tratamiento médico.

A inicios de semana se informó que el expelotero de Grandes Ligas, Luis Polonia, había dado positivo al virus e ingresado en un centro médico de Santiago. Hasta ese momento se encontraba en aislamiento hospitalario.

Del mundo del espectáculo también ha dado positivo en estos días el cantante dominicano Víctor Víctor, quien junto a su esposa Sobeida fueron hospitalizados por Covid-19.

 

Este jueves dio positivo al virus el asistente del presidente de la República, Robert de la Cruz. Se desconoce su estado de salud del miembro del Comité Político del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana.
