Juez pone en libertad al Pulpo

El juez del séptimo Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional varió esta tarde la prisión preventiva de Alexis Medina, Fernando Rosa, y José Dolores Santana, implicados en el caso Antipulpo.

El juez Deiby Timoteo Peguero dispuso el arresto domiciliario. Asimismo, dispuso el pago de 60 millones de pesos bajo aseguradora, para Medina; 30 millones para Fernando Rosa, y 20 millones para Dolores Santana.

También, dispuso a los tres la colocación de grillete electrónico para que no se sustrajeran del proceso. Los imputados tienen además impedimento de salida y presentación periódica.

El juez alegó para variar la medida que pasó el tiempo de prisión preventiva y que el Ministerio Público duró mucho para presentar la acusación.

El caso Antipulpo estalló en noviembre de 2020.  En su acusación contra la supuesta red por corrupción administrativa, el Ministerio Público acusa a Juan Alexis Medina Sánchez y otras 27 personas físicas y 21 compañías de formar parte de un entramado de corrupción que estafó al Estado con casi 5 mil millones de pesos.

A Medina Sánchez se le atribuye haberse aprovechado su condición de hermano del entonces presidente de la República, Danilo Medina Sánchez para dañar al Estado.

Imputados

Con relación al caso de presunta corrupción administrativa están imputados Juan Alexis Medina Sánchez, hermano del ex presidente Danilo Medina, José Dolores Santana Carmona, Fernando Rosa.

Mientras que Carmen Magalys Medina Sánchez, hermana del expresidente Danilo Medina y exvicepresidenta administrativa del Fonper, Francisco Pagán Rodríguez, Aquiles Christopher, Julián Esteban Suriel Suaz, Rafael Antonio Germosén Andújar y Freddy Hidalgo, guardan arresto domiciliario.

También Wacal Vernavel Méndez Pineda, quien está en Najayo.

A los imputados se les acusa de crear un entramado de corrupción, estafa al estado, equipos sobrevalorados, documentos adulterados, lavado de activos, entre otros.
