La Pruebas Nacionales del 2022 serán mas fáciles debido a los rezagos en los aprendizajes

La Pruebas Nacionales se retoman luego de dos años sin aplicarlas

Las Pruebas Nacionales que se aplicarán en 2022, presentan ajustes en su diseño, debido a dos años lectivos irregulares y una pérdida general del aprendizaje, según se expresa en las conclusiones de los resultados de una Consulta Nacional a sobre los aprendizajes alcanzados y los procesos educativos desarrollados durante el año escolar 2020-2021.

De acuerdo al documento titulado “Estrategia de familiarización con las Pruebas Nacionales”, colgado en la página web del Ministerio de Educación, sobre la efectividad del proceso 2020-2021, el 60.6% de los docentes entiende que sus estudiantes aprendieron menos que en años anteriores y solo 9.5% expresó que aprendieron más que en años anteriores.

Algunos estudiantes no tenían computadoras y dependían del celular de los padres para conectarse. Esto representaba un gran problema cuando la familia tenía varios niños en grados diferentes.

Entre las dificultades más frecuentes que enfrentaron los docentes para el desarrollo de las clases se encuentran la falta de internet en los hogares de los estudiantes 46.6% y la mala calidad del internet en el centro educativo o capacidad insuficiente 33.0%.

Señala, además, que esta modalidad remota de enseñanza requería de más apoyo de las familias, pero muchos de los adultos no tenían la preparación académica ni pedagógica para apoyar con las tareas escolares de sus hijos. Esto también representó un gran reto.

 

Currículo limitado

“Con estas limitaciones ha de esperarse que el currículo se aplicara también de forma limitada. Para asegurar lo básico y más importante, el MINERD presentó a la comunidad educativa la priorización curricular, disminuyendo significativamente la cantidad de indicadores de logro a trabajar durante el año escolar 2020-2021”expresa el escrito.

Por este motivo el Minerd  explica que  por estas situaciones, y entendiendo que los aprendizajes de los estudiantes se afectaron negativamente durante la pandemia, las Pruebas Nacionales que se aplicarán en 2022, presentan ajustes en su diseño.

Estos ajustes se hicieron tomando en cuenta este contexto, los resultados de la consulta nacional que se hizo a docentes 2020-2021 (CDN20-21), y los reportes de Regionales y Distritos sobre los temas abordados del currículo en el año escolar 2020-2021 que solicitó esta Dirección.

Pruebas de transición

Las pruebas nacionales que serán aplicadas en el 2022 son de transición entre enfoque de contenido y competencias.

Se explica que serán de transición porque alrededor del 2011 se comenzó a gestar en nuestro país un proceso de reforma curricular que incluye los diferentes niveles, modalidades y sub-sistemas educativos (Ordenanza 02-2011), lo que condujo a una revisión y actualización curricular que concluyó con un currículo actualizado, con un enfoque de competencias.

A partir de ahí se introdujeron cambios en la estructura del sistema educativo estableciendo tres niveles educativos de 6 años, cada uno con dos ciclos de 3 años (Ord 3-2013).

El currículo actualizado del nivel secundario comenzó su validación y aplicación de manera gradual del 2016 al 2020 y se dio inicio a una etapa de transición curricular cuyo objetivo es la experimentación validación del currículo actualizado, que implica cambios en todos los procesos educativos, siendo el más significativo la actuación docente en relación a cómo entiende el currículo, cómo lo asume el nuevo enfoque y lo aplica en el aula.

Estos cambios obligaron a revisar también las evaluaciones nacionales y actualizarlas, elaborándose la Ordenanza 01-2016 que norma las evaluaciones de aprendizaje.

Niveles de aplicación de las Pruebas Nacionales

Las Pruebas Nacionales son pruebas estandarizadas en formato de lápiz y papel, censales (se aplican a todos los estudiantes inscritos en los grados establecidos) que evalúan los aprendizajes desarrollados en las áreas de Lengua Española, Matemática, Ciencias Sociales y Ciencias de la Naturaleza y tienen consecuencias en su promoción. Las Pruebas Nacionales se aplican al finalizar el nivel Secundario/Medio, abarcan el segundo ciclo de secundaria (4°, 5°, y 6°), el Nivel Medio (1ro a 4to) y Básica de la Educación de Adultos.

Los cambios 

Se hicieron cambios en los grados y en el diseño de las Pruebas Nacionales para alineación con el currículo,  se ajustó gradualmente el diseño de las pruebas para evaluar competencias usando los contenidos como medios y se propusieron nuevas especificaciones de todas las pruebas.

Igualmente se  introdujeron evaluaciones nacionales con la finalidad de diagnóstico al final de cada ciclo, en 3ro y 6to primaria y en 3ro de Secundaria.

Aunque en el 2020 se tenía el nuevo diseño de las Pruebas Nacionales de Secundaria acorde al currículo y el piloto listo para aplicarse, no se pudo implementar por la pandemia. El estudio piloto es el que posibilita que se validen las preguntas para conformar las pruebas definitivas, por tanto, no se pudieron armar las nuevas pruebas con enfoque de competencias.

Preparación previa

El Minerd entregará a los centros educativos los cuadernillos de prácticas de cada área para trabajarlos con los estudiantes, y se les dará información sobre lo que evalúa cada pregunta del cuadernillo y cuál es la respuesta correcta.

Los cuadernillos tienen preguntas de práctica similares a las que responderán en las Pruebas Nacionales, ya que siguen el mismo formato, pero ninguna de estas preguntas será usada en la prueba.

Este material se usará como guía para ensayar con los estudiantes de manera que se familiaricen con las Pruebas Nacionales y complemente las actividades que realizan los centros educativos en las tradicionales clínicas. Además,  el Minerd  recomienda realizar otras prácticas y simulacros de evaluaciones disponibles en la plataforma iq.edu.do.
