Reinaldo Pared Pérez (25 de septiembre de 1956), ex presidente del Senado de la República, murió la noche del jueves a los 65 años de edad.

Roberto Rodríguez Marchena, quien fue vocero del Gobierno de Danilo Medina, confirmó el deceso en su cuenta de Twitter.

«¡Qué tristeza tan grande! Acabo de recibir la noticia de la muerte de mi querido Reinaldo Pared Pérez. Lo recordaré siempre como fue: compañero y amigo decente, solidario, leal e invariablemente digno. Traslado mi solidaridad y pesar a su madre, esposa, hijos, nietos y hermanos», publicó Marchena.

Este diario no ha confirmado la razón de la muerte del político.

Pared Pérez fue secretario general del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) y miembro de su Comité Polítco. También senador del Distrito Nacional entre 2006 y 2020. Además, fue un abogado y catedrático.

El político tenía varios años batallando contra un cáncer en el esófago, por el que fue atentido en Estados Unidos por un tiempo.

Una de sus declaraciones este año fue sobre el presidente Luis Abinader.

El exsecretario del PLD calificó al presidente de la República como “un hombre bien intencionado”, exhortándolo a continuar exhibiendo el mismo comportamiento.

“Veo en Luis Abinader a un hombre bien intencionado ¡Ojalá siga así! ¡Me alegro y lo felicito!”, escribió en su cuenta de la red social Twitter a mediados de marzo de este año.

Decisión de no seguir en la Secretaría del PLD

En enero de este año, Pared Pérez, comunicó al PLD que no aspiraba a repetir en su cargo de secretario general, debido a que sus condiciones de salud le dificultarían realizar la labor.

“Mi estado de salud se ha visto demasiado afectado por lo que el tren de mis actividades y acciones que siempre he llevado a cabo en lo personal, en lo político y en lo profesional han tenido que disminuirse de manera considerable rayando prácticamente en lo nulo”, dijo Pared Pérez en una carta leída por Julio Martínez Pozo en el programa «El sol de la mañana», el 13 de enero.

En esa misiva tambén solicitó su exclusión del Comité Político por las mismas razones, pidiendo que se le deje solo en el Comité Central, ya que planeaba seguir siendo un militante del PLD.

A principios de marzo de este 2020, Charlie Mariotti fue elegido como secretario general del partido morado.

    You could look at Yahoo’s front page and see how
    they create post headlines to get viewers to open the links.
    You might add a related video or a related
    picture or two to grab readers excited about everything’ve written. Just
    my opinion, it might bring your website a little livelier.
