Obras Públicas y Ayuntamiento inician operativo de bacheo, limpieza y acondicionamiento vial en Santo Domingo Este

  • EN LA PRIMERA FASE OBRAS PÚBLICAS DEDICARÁ DOS MESES DE TRABAJO INTENSIVO AL MUNICIPIO

     

    El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y el Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este iniciaron este lunes un operativo conjunto de bacheo, limpieza, desinfección y acondicionamiento en las principales calles y avenidas de la circunscripción 1 y 3  del municipio cabecera de la provincia Santo Domingo.

     

    Al dejar iniciados los trabajos en la intersección de las avenidas San Vicente de Paul y José Cabrera, el alcalde Manuel Jiménez y el viceministro de Obras Públicas, Mélido Alcántara, explicaron que en el operativo se pondrán en funcionamiento 12 camiones volquetas, 7 retropalas, 7 minicargadores, 22 camiones de 3 metros,  ocho unidades para desinfección, y decenas de obreros y técnicos asignados a estas labores por Obras Públicas y el Ayuntamiento.

     

    “Es un avance muy importante, un gran apoyo a las acciones que día a día desarrolla el Ayuntamiento para garantizar que Santo Domingo Este sea una ciudad cada vez más limpia y mejor organizada”, declaró el alcalde Manuel Jiménez antes de dejar iniciados los trabajos conjuntos. En la primera fase la intervención del Ministerio de Obras Públicas tendrá una duración de dos meses, con el objetivo de cumplir el mandato del presidente Luis Abinader, quien ordenó a su consejo de ministros el respaldo total a los planes estratégicos desarrollados por la gestión de Jiménez.

     

    Por parte de la Alcaldía los trabajos serán supervisados por el Director de Obras, Héctor Garibaldy; Aseo, Edgar Minyeti; y Gestión Ambiental y Riesgo, Demetrio Sánchez. Por Obras Públicas también estuvieron presentes Élido Alcántara, Director de pavimentación; y Alejandro Brito, de Mantenimiento Vial.
