Pedernales comienza a sentir llegada de visitantes

Los hoteles de Pedernales alcanzarán en Semana Santa una buena ocupación y aunque la mayoría de visitantes llegará a esta provincia después del jueves, este lunes ya comienza a sentirse la presencia de turistas.

Al respecto, el ayuntamiento municipal colocó vallas ofreciendo la bienvenida a los visitantes nacionales, extranjeros  y ausentes en las entradas del pueblo, en las playas urbanas y en lugares por donde transitan vacacionistas regularmente durante el feriado de la Semana Santa.

En una reunión en los salones de la gobernación provincial, las autoridades acordaron que durante la Semana Santa desarrollarán los controles necesarios para que los bañistas tengan un comportamiento acorde con las medidas protocolares.

Las disposiciones fueron tomadas por el alcalde Andrés Emilito Jiménez Sánchez y su sala capitular que representan los cincos regidores, los cuales junto a los organismos de socorro integran las autoridades de instituciones gubernamentales y sociales en el Comité de Emergencia, Mitigación y Respuestas centrado en la Defensa Civil.

Las playas de Pedernales, entre las que se encuentra la de la parte urbana, Cabo Rojo, La Cueva, Bahía de las Águilas, Bucanyé, los balnearios  de El Mulito en la zona rural, Arroyos Salado en el municipio de Oviedo, la Playa El Cán de Juancho, los Pozos Ecológico de Romeo y La roquita, estarán abiertas hasta las 5:00 de la tarde.

Entre las medidas que serán vigiladas por las autoridades están el uso de las mascarillas, el distanciamiento físico, el uso adecuado de los vehículos en lugares públicos de la provincia y evitar el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas en balnearios y playas.
