Procuraduría deposita más de tres mil pruebas en acusación contra Jean Alain
El Ministerio Público depositó la noche del sábado la acusación formal del caso Medusa, que tiene como principal acusado al ex procurador Jean Alain Rodríguez.
El MP tenía hasta el siete de este mes para hacer el depósito del expendiente, luego de que se vencieral el plazo para presen El expediente contra los acusados en el caso Medusa, que fue depositado anoche ante el Juzgado de Atención Permanente del Distrito Nacional, contiene más de tres mil pruebas.
Así lo informó la fiscal Luisa Liranzo, quien acudió anoche a las 11:42 a depositar la acusación formal contra el exprocurador general de la República, y otras 50 personas, un expediente que asegura contiene el mayor número de pruebas sobre una acusación de esta naturaleza
tar la acusación formal y la jueza Altagracia Ramírez de la Cruz le pusiera esta nueva fecha.
Actualemtne, por el caso, además de Jean Alain Rodríguez Sánchez, guardan prisión preventiva el exdirector de Tecnología de la Información y la Comunicación del Ministerio Público, Javier Alejandro Forteza Ibarra; el exdirector administrativo, Jonathan Joel Rodríguez Imbert, y Alfredo Alexander Solano Augusto, ex subdirector administrativo.
Jenny Marte Peña, exencargada de Proyectos, cumple arresto domiciliario, al igual que la ex subdirectora administrativa Altagracia Guillén Calzado, así como Rafael Antonio Mercedes Marte, exdirector de Contabilidad.
El proceso también se sigue contra el exasesor Miguel José Moya, a quien le fue impuesta una garantía económica de un millón de pesos en modalidad de contrato con compañía aseguradora, impedimento de salida y presentación periódica.
En el Caso Medusa está también involucrado Rafael Stefano Canó Sacco, el exjefe de Gabinete del exprocurador Rodríguez Sánchez, quien fue arrestado en España el pasado año y se solicitó su entrega a República Dominicana.
El Ministerio Público asegura que los imputados integraron una red criminal de corrupción que operó desde la Procuraduría General de la República y que, según estimaciones preliminares, estafó al Estado dominicano con más de 6 mil millones de pesos.
