El regidor Miguel Ángel Rosario publicó un post en su cuenta de Facebook donde explicó que su mayor satisfacción siempre será haber vencido a la mentira, la envidia, el odio y el resentimiento.
Esta publicación, realizada más de un mes antes de las elecciones, coincide con las críticas que ha recibido el concejo de regidores por la aprobación de una planta de combustibles en la circunscripción 3.
Algunos defensores de Miguel Ángel resaltan que es injusto querer tirar piedras contra los más débiles, ya que en esa votación levantaron su mano derecha todos los regidores veteranos del PLD y la Fuerza del Pueblo. También argumentan que él, con apenas un mes, no debería iniciar su gestión poniéndose en contra del bloque de su partido.
Un defensor del joven regidor expresó que Miguel Ángel, quien fue el dirigente más joven en llegar al Comité Central del PLD y es el regidor de menor edad del municipio, tiene opositores internos que no están de acuerdo con ese ascenso tan rápido por encima de otros viejos amargados que solo restan.
Los jóvenes amigos de Miguel Ángel entienden que las principales críticas provienen de compañeros y compañeras resentidos del equipo al que él pertenece.
Para muchos, el futuro político de Miguel Ángel es muy prometedor y podría llegar en un futuro no muy lejano a ser alcalde de Santo Domingo Este, o incluso a ocupar un puesto más alto.
Yo estoy a miles de kilómetros y muy alejada de las querellas políticas, pero como una mujer joven no podía dejar pasar por alto este linchamiento moral contra un joven que cometió el pecado de alcanzar un puesto que otros no lograron.
En mi opinión, a Miguel Ángel no debemos lanzarle piedras; al contrario, los mayores deben guiarlo con críticas constructivas en privado, elogios en público y darle la oportunidad de desarrollarse. Debemos augurarle éxito, porque ninguno de los seres humanos es perfecto, y el que se sienta libre de errores que lance la primera piedra.
