Revelaciones de una reunión secreta en Santo Domingo de los Colorados Ecuador

A finales de la década perdida, el maestro llegó a Quito, en compañía  de su esposa y una comitiva dos altos dirigentes de su partido.  Pasada la medianoche se reunió en secreto con la más alta figura de esa nación.

Los dos dirigentes que participaron en esa reunión no se sintieron conforme con el anfitrión, ya que ellos pensaban que, dado el posicionamiento electoral del maestro, en esa conversación el anfitrión iba a ofrecerle algún apoyo económico.

Al día siguiente, el artista del pincel llamó al maestro para visitarlo al hotel, pero el líder prefirió que se vieran en otro lugar y le propuso que se juntaran en la catedral de Santo Domingo.

Los acompañantes del maestro se sintieron confundido con la repuesta del maestro. ¿Por qué esperar que el pintor viaje a la Republica dominicana, sí estamos ahora en su país?

Cuando los dirigentes se levantaron y fueron a la habitación del maestro, la esposa le comentó que había salido muy temprano a un lugar desconocido.

Ante del medio día el maestro llegó a la catedral y se encontró por casualidad con un joven cantautor de su país, inmediatamente lo invitó a una reunión secreta que tendría con un famoso pintor en breves minutos.

Ese encuentro secreto entre el artista de los relatos con finales sorprendentes, el cantautor que derrocha amor con su letra y el pintor que hacía magia con el pincel nunca fue revelado a los acompañantes del maestro y ni siquiera se dieron cuenta de que en su conversación telefónica no se refería a la Catedral Primada de América, sino a la Antigua Catedral de La Ascensión en la Ciudad de Santo Domingo de los Colorados, la cuarta ciudad mas grande de  Ecuador

Años después, el pintor le hizo un retrato al maestro histórico y el cantautor compuso una canción que describe el espíritu de libertad, honestidad y patriotismo  del gran maestro.
