La Fiscalía solicitó 12 meses de prisión preventiva contra del profesor John Kelly Martínez, imputado como principal sospechoso de la muerte de la adolescente, y presentación periódica en contra de Rubiel Morrillo Martínez, primo del imputado, por su complicidad en el hecho.
El Ministerio Público ha dado la calificación jurídica provisional a los hechos cometidos por el imputado como violación sexual y asociación de malhechores para cometer un delito, previstos en los artículos 265, 266 y 331 del Código Penal Dominicano.
La investigación indica que en horas de la noche del pasado 12 de febrero la adolescente salió desde su el hogar donde residía con sus padres en Vista Alegre, en compañía del maestro así como de Morrillo Martínez y otras tres alumnas menores de edad.
Refiere que, al retornar a su hogar, alrededor de las 12:00 de la noche, la joven llegó pálida y sangrando, por lo que sus padres la ayudaron y quedó en su habitación.
Los padres de la adolescente encontraron a la menor sin vida en el baño de su residencia al día siguiente.
