Nuevo record: RD reporta 29 muertos en un día por Covid-19 y 245 en intensivos

La cifra de muertos por coronavirus en el país ascendió a 971, para un total de 29 defunciones nuevas, siendo la cifra más alta de fallecidos por esa causa en un día.

Así lo informa el boletín número 121 del Ministerio de Salud Pública dado a conocer la mañana de este sábado.

En el informe también se detalla que 3,721 pacientes con la enfermedad se encuentran en aislamiento hospitalario, 22,220 en sus domicilios y 24,607 ya se han recuperados.

Del total de los ingresados en centros hospitalarios el 41.22% pertenece al Gran San Santo Domingo

Al menos 245 pacientes con coronavirus se encuentran en la unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de centros médicos, manteniendo la misma cifra del boletín anterior.

De esa cantidad, el 41.22% está ingresado en centros del Gran Santo Domingo, el 33.47% en Santiago y el 15.51% en la provincia Duarte.

De acuerdo al boletín número 121 dado a conocer por Salud Pública este sábado, un total de

244 trabajadores de la salud han dado positivos a la enfermedad, de los cuales 64.34% (157) corresponden al sexo femenino.

Señala, además, que del total de infectados, el 53.11% (27,363) son hombres y el 52.35% (26,968) de los casos se concentra en 12 municipio
