Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana construirá un muelle pesquero en Juancho

JUANCHO, Pedernales: La Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana (APORDOM), construirá un muelle pesquero en la Playa El Can de esta comunidad.

Para tales fines una comisión de la APORDOM, encabezada por el Subdirector Ejecutivo, Alan Omar Checo Alonzo, realizaron un levantamiento técnico para su construcción.

La comisión fue recibida por Rafelito Garo, Vicecónsul de la República Dominicana en Cabo Haitiano, Haití.

También estuvieron presentes Carlos Manuel Féliz representante de CODOPESCA en la comunidad y el Presidente de la Asociación de Pescadores de Juancho.

Garo,  destacó que la construcción del muelle pesquero será de gran beneficio para este sector económico de esta comunidad y la provincia de Pedernales, puesto que creará más empleos y beneficiará a decenas de familias de manera directa e indirecta.

También dignificar la labor de estos trabajadores que viven de los productos del mar, logrando la participación equitativa, incentivando el emprendimiento y el cuidado de los recursos marítimos y medioambientales.

La inversión impactará de manera significativa a los pescadores ya que sus botes estarán en puerto seguro.
