Juramentan frentes deportivo y cultural del movimiento Manuel con Luís
En un acto al que asistieron representantes de las áreas deportivas y culturales, fueron juramentados los frentes Deportivo y Cultural del Movimiento Manuel con Luis. Los miembros quedaron juramentados por el presidente del movimiento, Manuel Jiménez, quien sostuvo que ahora la tarea es seguir conquistando en voto en el municipio para encaminar al presidente Luis Abinader a repetir el cargo por cuatro años más.
“El próximo domingo, es decir, del domingo en ocho, son las elecciones, y es verdad que tenemos un 70%, pero lo que se mide es la intención del voto. Para que esa intensión se convierta en realidad nos toca a nosotros convertirlo en voto, la intención de cada ciudadano que mayoritariamente ha estado respondiendo en nuestro país que quiere que Luis siga gobernando, sostuvo Jiménez al encabezar el acto, realizado en el local provincial del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) en Santo Domingo Este.
Sostuvo que República Dominicana ha avanzado pasos importantes en los últimos cuatro años y por ningún concepto los dominicanos pueden permitir que eso se detenga. “Por eso los artistas y los deportistas tenemos un compromiso para asegurarnos que eso no se devuelva”, enfatizó el dirigente perremeísta.
Instó a buscar los votos casa por casa y llevar a la gente a los centros de votación y madrugar para que en el primer resultado que den del proceso se demuestre esa intención que ha venido demostrando el pueblo dominicano para que Abinader siga dirigiendo los destinos del país.
Jiménez, aprovechó el acto para agradecer el apoyo que recibió desde el Gobierno Central, especialmente del presidente Luis Abinader, para impulsar importantes proyectos en mejoras del bienestar colectivo de la comunidad durante su gestión como alcalde, donde creó las direcciones de Cultura y Deportes, así como la de Juventud.
De su lado, Roberto Neris, coordinador del Frente Deportivo, sostuvo que una demostración de la fortaleza del deporte en el municipio es que durante la gestión de Jiménez no se quedó ni una actividad deportiva de importancia sin realizar, citando el caso de los Juegos Deportivos Municipales y el Maratón de la Patria.
“En este municipio se desarrollaron todas las acciones deportivas importantes, como el Maratón de la Patria y los Juegos Deportivos Municipales, gracias a un hombre con una visión hacia el deporte, produciendo un cambio que hoy se ve como un desafío que se debe continuar”, sostuvo Neris.
Mientras que, Guillermo Martínez, coordinador del Frente Cultural, destacó que la cultura es un fenómeno que sin ella no hay forma de que un país pueda desarrollarse, al destacar que desde la UNESCO se debe replantear cómo desarrollar nuevas estrategias para seguir revolucionando el sector.
Además de Martínez, el Frente Cultural lo integran el artista plástico Dionicio Blanco, el gestor cultural Eddy Sánchez, la folklorista Kenia García, Sonia Cabral, mejor conocida como la Reina del Son, Chino Méndez, el escultor Giusep García, la escritora María Ortiz, así como otros importantes miembros del arte y la cultura local y nacional.
En tanto que, a Neris lo acompañan en el Frente Deportivo, Ángel Rivas, presidente de la Asociación de Voleibol del Distrito Nacional, Juan Santana, dirigente del Club Nuestro Esfuerzo, José Santos, presidente del Equipo Gigantes del Espaillat, Jesús Valoy, presidente de la Liga Tito Valoy, Fernando Ozuna, presidente de la Liga Punta Torrecilla, así como Andrés Galván, David Martínez, Freddy Uceta y otros importantes dirigentes, técnicos y entrenadores deportivos.
Al acto asistieron, además, el diseñador de modas, Martín Polanco, la regidora Jehimy Núñez, así como dirigentes y simpatizantes del PRM en el municipio.
