La escogencia de los candidatos a alcalde en algunos de los partidos fue traumática debido a imposiciones amañadas o decisiones erróneas de sectores con poder en las cúpulas de algunos partidos. Entre esos tropezones de las dirigencias de esos partidos, la militancia y los simpatizantes de esas organizaciones políticas no están obligados a pagar los platos rotos de sus líderes y el pueblo, que es más inteligente que sus dirigentes, sabrá escoger en febrero de 2024 al alcalde que más le convenga, sin importar el color de la boleta.

El sistema de voto preferencial para las elecciones municipales de 2024 favorece al votante al darle la oportunidad de elegir al candidato a alcalde de su preferencia y al aspirante a regidor que desee, sin importar que sean de partidos diferentes. Un simpatizante de Leonel Fernández cercano a un candidato a regidor de la Fuerza del Pueblo desea votar por Luis Alberto para alcalde, que es del PLD. Ese aspirante a regidor no puede tratar de impedir que vote por el alcalde de su preferencia, ya que corre el riesgo de que ese votante, que deseaba fraccionar el voto, termine abandonando al candidato a regidor y vote completo en la boleta morada o si sucede inverso tambien es aceptable.

En Santo Domingo Este  sería natural que una parte de los simpatizantes o militantes de la Fuerza del Pueblo voten por Luis Alberto debido a la familiaridad con él en sus anteriores partidos.

Un militante del PRM, seguidor de Luis Abinader y de un regidor de ese partido, puede perfectamente votar por Julio Romero o Wanda Rosado, ya que los orígenes de Julio y Wanda se remontan a las mismas raíces de ese partido y ese militante que desconozca al candidato del PRM no está incurriendo en ninguna traición, porque ese candidato es un cuerpo extraño dentro de ese partido.

Un votante perremeísta puede sufragar por Luis Alberto  que no ataca ni ofende a nadie sin ningún rubor, ya que ese cuerpo extraño que aparecerá en la boleta de alcalde del PRM es fruto de una conspiración en contra del  popular alcalde de ese partido  y de los perremeístas más ortodoxos, representados por Adán y Bertico, y ningún militante de ese partido está obligado a legitimar esa conspiración del 1ro de octubre de 2023.

Mi consejo a los candidatos a regidores y diputados es que voten por la boleta completa de su partido, pero sin forzar al votante que desee dividir el voto, porque con el voto preferencial, regidores y diputados irán en boletas diferentes, lo que indica que la salvación es individual.
