Santo Domingo Este, -. Quiero hacer un llamado al ministro de Salud Pública, Doctor Plutarco Arias, es posible que un ciudadano que este padeciendo de una enfermedad, para poder optar por un turno o consulta, tenga que levantarse a las 4 de la madrugada.

Le hago la pregunta porque el día miércoles 25 de noviembre de 2020, una señora, la cual responde al nombre de Ruth Ester Florián Santana, me llamó a mi lugar de trabajo para que me hiciera eco de tan peligrosa situación por la que estaba atravesando.

Me cuenta la ciudadana indefensa, que a la 6 de la mañana se dirigió al Ney Arias Lora en Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte, con la finalidad de pedir un ticket para consultar una hermana que se encuentra gravemente enferma.

Al llegar su turno, sorpresa se llevó cuando escucho decir a la persona que estaba encargada de entregarlos Ticket que ya se habían acabado, y que para conseguirlo tenía que estar presente al otro día las 4 de la madrugada. 

Se imagina usted señor director, una dama indefensa, transportarse a esa hora, con la ola de delincuencia y criminalidad que durante años vienen azotando a los barrios y calles de la Republica Dominicana. 

Son estas las razones porque en este País, “mayoría de pacientes”, prefieren morirse en sus hogares, y no visitar a los profesionales de la medicina.

Eso es una muestra de negligencia y la mala calidad hospitalaria que existe en nuestra nación. Ojalá casos como este no se sigan repitiendo.
