Jhonatan Liriano: RD pasó de la dictadura a la desigualdad rampante
EL ASPIRANTE A DIPUTADO JHONATAN LIRIANO ENCABEZÓ EN INVIVIENDA UNA VELADA CULTURAL POR EL “DÍA DE LA LIBERTAD”
Al encabezar en Invivienda una velada cultural conmemorativa del fin de la dictadura de Trujillo, el comunicador y aspirante a diputado Jhonatan Liriano aseguró que en República Dominicana está pendiente conquistar la dimensión más profunda de la democracia, que es la participación de la mayoría en los beneficios económicos y materiales que cada año genera el aparato productivo.
Con música, poesía, canto y bailes criollos Liriano y vecinos de Invivienda recordaron los hechos que un 30 de mayo de 1961 pusieron fin al “régimen de miedo, sangre y corrupción” que encabezaba Rafael Leonidas Trujillo.
Según Liriano, 62 años después del denominado “Día de la Libertad” la dominicana figura como una de las sociedades más desiguales de América Latina, que a su vez es la región más desigual del planeta.
“Y no es fortuito. Nuestro sistema político no ha podido convertir en desarrollo humano generalizado el extraordinario crecimiento económico de las últimas décadas. La mayor parte del fruto de nuestro trabajo se queda en muy pocas manos”, dijo Liriano, quien estuvo acompañado de representantes del movimiento Bien Común, del partido Frente Amplio, el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Compromiso RD y de otras organizaciones sociales y políticas.
En la velada cultural Liriano y su equipo presentaron las líneas generales de lo que sería “una diputación presente, con propuestas claras y viables y fundamentada en la defensa y la promoción del bien común”.
El evento fue animado por el grupo de baile moderno Studio Breezy de Invivienda, las voces de Eusebio García, Claritza Betances, y declamaciones de poemas patrióticos por parte de la escritora María Ortiz y parte del público de Invivienda.
La actividad fue precedida de una marcha alrededor del parque del sector, con antorchas y velones que simbolizaron la luz que llegó a la República Dominicana cuando Antonio de la Maza, Antonio Imbert, Amado García Guerrero, Salvador Estrella, Huáscar Tejeda, Pedro Livio Cedeño y Roberto Pastoriza pusieron fin a la larga noche de la dictadura trujillista.
