Soto Jiménez dijo vamos a gobernar el país dándole un apoyo irrestricto a la modernización, al avance y progreso de las Fuerzas Armadas”, manifestó. Agregó que existen contra el país amenazas externas, que buscan “arruinarnos como nación”, lo cual dijo es perjudicial “para nosotros y para quienes nos lo quieren imponer”. Descartó que en el país se discrimine, o exista xenofobia.
Soto Jiménez, también exsecretario de las Fuerzas Armadas, se comprometió a trabajar para que Fernández retorne al poder en 2024 y por la solución de los problemas nacionales. “Hay que llevar a Leonel Fernández al poder para hacer valer nuestro derecho como nación”, dijo.
Según analista político de Santo Domingo Este, la figura de Veras será determinante en el éxito de la alianza, ya que el presidente de la asociación de Comerciante del Mercado de Los Mina tiene gran influencia en el municipio mas grande del país.
