Pasada la media noche, las luces del aeropuerto situado en el condado de Loudoun, Virginia le indicaban a la madre que había llegado al estado donde operaba la principal oficina de la CIA

En ese momento su mente  viajó al mundo del cine y con una mezcla de angustia y emoción  recordaba algunas películas de espionaje  como el clásico agente 007 con licencia para matar que  fue creado por el periodista inglés, Ian Fleming  o  la saga americana de Jason Bourne, a quien en ese guion lo presentaba como un agente de un cuerpo elite de la CIA que sufría de amnesia

La madre intentó aplaudir cuándo los neumáticos del avión tocaron la pista del   Aeropuerto Internacional de Washington-Dulles, pero esos gringos de sangre fría no hicieron  el mínimo gesto , su hijo mayor le dijo –Mami, yo creo que los únicos que aplauden cuando el avión aterrizan son los dominicanos

Al salir de la cabina, vieron a sus anfitriones esperándolos en la terminal, la hermosa Elizabeth y Carlo.

 

Llegaron a una casa bella y bien cuidada y con una ubicación tan perfecta que se podía ir sin problema a Baltimore y Washington DC.

Al  día siguiente la madre  y los hijos oraron de agradecimiento al señor por ponerle en su camino una  persona como Elizabeth, quien inspira amor al prójimo, deseo de superación y una organización con más precisión que los antiguos relojes suizos.

Al  tercer día después de ir a Baltimore el hijo mayor le dijo a la madre  que era un propósito de Dios que  él conociera una hermosa chica llena de valores que su meta es que todos los seres humanos puedan sonreír y sentir orgullo de mostrar su dentadura.

El menor apoyo a su hermano y dijo que esa joven que desea ser odontóloga fue el canal para que Dios pusiera en este camino a Elizabth, a esa mujer que junto a su esposo saben tratar a los seres humanos con amor, paz y armonía

 

Los obstáculos para entrar a los principales  monumentos de Washington DC, no impidieron que la madre y los hijos sintieran la emoción histórica de estar cerca del Monumento a Lincoln, la experiencia de acercarse a la  Casa donde vive y trabaja el individuo más poderoso del planeta.

El protocolo del Covid no impidió que la madre y los hijos apreciaran  ese magnetismo carismático que refleja el imponente Capitolio o sentir esa deliciosa brisa que llega desde el río Potomac.

A la segunda semana  habían visitados decenas de lugares, incluyendo el imponente acuario de la principal ciudad del estado de  Maryland y los lugares histórico del DC.

Una tarde comieron en una pizzería muy famosa,  fundada en  el año años 1943, que resalta la tradiciones culinaria de de Baltimore y al llegar a la casa, el hijo menor le dijo a la madre – Este viaje lo recodaré como el mejor de mi vida, por primera salimos sin presión, sin temor de un reproche, por primera vez sentimos la seguridad que nos da la presencia de Dios

Los anfitriones   se esmeraban en hacer feliz a la madre y a los hijos. Las atenciones VIP de Elizabeth rompieron los límites de bondad y la solidaridad.

Los sufrimientos pasados de la madre  se esfumaron en ese viaje y pudo descubrir  cosas nuevas, cosas que nunca imaginó conocer.

La madre y los hijos que odiaban los felinos, descubrieron  la encantadora seducción de una gata con la misma inteligencia de un perro Pastor Alemán.

 

Ese viaje despertó en la madre ese sentimiento de  progreso,  desarrollo, espiritualidad, armonía, amor y una  paz interior que alguien una vez intentos matar, pero solo hirió y lo mantuvo dormido

La madre descubrió con los consejos de Elizabeth y Carlos  que en la vida no se mira hacia atrás y solo se sigue adelante

La madre y los hijos regresaron a su país el 3 de mayo con semblantes   de felicidad  y dispuestos a no permitir que sufrimientos pasados regresen como recuerdo al presente.

Luego de 12 día de su llegada al país, la madre lucha contra su nueva realidad que desea aniquilar su felicidad,  cuando está  a punto de ser atrapada por sufrimiento pasado, piensa en su inolvidable  estadía en  Washington DC y renueva con más fe su deseo de ser feliz.
