Cuando se está en campaña, los candidatos prometen a las diferentes comunidades obras que ejecutarían si son favorecidos por el voto del soberano, una vez asumen el cargo para el cual fueron electos dejan las promesas y se dedican a ejecutar su programa de gobierno; pero presidente Abinader sigue en campaña, está prometiendo obras en los consejos de gobierno que realiza en las diferentes provincias. Como muestra citamos el caso de Santo Domingo Este
El 31 de enero del 2021, el presidente Luis Abinader realizo un consejo de gobierno en Santo Domingo Este, el mismo no paso sin pena ni gloria, porque frente al palacio municipal se presentaron cientos de perremeistas exigiendo empleos en el gobierno. El señor “José Sierra, quien se identificó como presidente de la Asociación de delegados Perremeístas Disgustados con el Gobierno (Asopedigo), afirmó que agrupan a más de 300 delegados” (Ver Listín Diario 31-1-2021)
En la página de la Presidencia de la República se enumeran las promesas que hizo el presidente.
1-Construcción una extensión de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo.
2-Un nuevo mercado.
3-El Palacio de Justicia.
4-Extensión de la línea dos del Metro hasta el puerto Caucedo.
5-Una estación de transferencia para los desechos sólidos.
6- Diez nuevos corredores de autobuses modernos,
7-Un Jardín Botánico en el santuario natural Cachón de la Rubia.
Veamos tres de estas promesas:
Para la extensión de UASD no existe claro el lugar donde se va a construir, se habla de San Isidro en los sectores “El Bonito y El Toro” frente al Cementerio Cristo Salvador. Me pregunto ¿Cómo le será más cómodo llegar a la UASD a los jóvenes de Villa Duarte o los Mameyes, San Isidro o la sede central.?
En cuanto al Palacio de Justicia debieron decir terminación porque el gobierno de Danilo Medina dejo iniciada la construcción del mismo y esta tiene un 80 por ciento terminada.
La extensión de la segunda línea del metro a puerto Caucedo, es una obra la cual su construcción dura más de 4 años, la misma conlleva estudios de suelo rigurosos y grandes inversiones. Sería un error del presidente Abinader embarcarse en una obra que no terminara y dejarle su conclusión al gobierno del PLD debido a que el PRM no pasa del 16 de agosto de 2024 en el Palacio Nacional.
