Alcaldía de Santiago dará bono de mil pesos a quien se vacune el día 27

El Ayuntamiento de Santiago anunció este miércoles que dará un bono de 1,000 pesos, a modo de incentivo, a cada persona que se vacune contra la covid-19 en una jornada especial que se realizará el próximo 27 de octubre.
El operativo especial de vacunación tendrá lugar en el vestíbulo del Ayuntamiento el 27 de octubre, en horario de 8.00 de la mañana a 4.00 de la tarde, según un comunicado del cabildo local.
Santiago es una de las provincias con peores tasas de vacunación del país, el 66.5 % de la población adulta ha recibido una dosis y el 53.9 % está completamente inmunizada contra el coronavirus.
El 60.1 % de la población adulta de República Dominicana está inmunizada y el 73.1 % ha recibido la primera dosis, según cifras del Plan Nacional de Vacunación.
El ritmo de inmunización se ha acelerado en los últimos días a raíz de que se dispusiera la obligatoriedad de presentar la tarjeta de vacunación en el transporte público, lugares de trabajo y de ocio, medida que entró en vigor el pasado lunes.
En el último día, 124,000 personas acudieron a vacunarse en el país, de las cuales 68,000 fueron a recibir la primera dosis, según datos aportados por el ministro de Salud Pública, Daniel Rivera.
