Ayuntamiento continuará desmonte de vallas ilegales
LA INSTITUCIÓN INDICÓ QUE LA LEGALIDAD DE SUS ACCIONES SE SUSTENTA EN QUE HA GANADO TODOS LOS CASOS A LOS QUE HA SIDO SOMETIDO POR VALLAS ILEGALES
El Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este continuará con los operativos de desmonte de vallas ilegales, como el caso de la empresa Vallas Reales, a la que se le han desmontado más de 100 letreros que fueron instalados de manera ilegal en todo el municipio.
Así lo informó la directora jurídica del Ayuntamiento, Belkis Estrella, quien dijo que con las acciones buscan recuperar los espacios para el disfrute de los munícipes que por años fueron ocupados para lucro personal de particulares.
“La legalidad de las acciones de la institución se demuestra en que todas las querellas que han presentado las empresas en su contra vinculadas con el desmonte de vallas ilegales, el ayuntamiento ha ganado en la justicia”, dijo la jurídica al responder preguntas de los periodistas en una rueda de prensa.
Estrella recordó que el Ayuntamiento es aliado de la ciudadanía y la ley, no de la ilegalidad, tras exhortar a toda la dirigencia social y política del municipio a respaldar la intención de Jiménez de desmontar todos los negocios ilegales que ocupan el espacio público.
JCE está apoderada de campaña a destiempo
Por otro lado, la directora jurídica informó que el caso de las vallas con contenido político y/o electoral está en manos de la Junta Central Electoral (JCE), a la que le fue entregada una comunicación el pasado con esos fines el pasado 16 de noviembre.
Hasta el momento el Ayuntamiento no ha tomado ninguna decisión de afectar la colocación de vallas de contenido político en el municipio hasta que la JCE se pronuncie al respecto y basada en la Ley 33-18.
Se recuerda que el artículo 44 de la referida ley indica que la propaganda prohibida durante el período de pre-campaña incluye la pintura de calles, aceras, contenes, postes del tendido eléctrico o árboles con colores o emblemas del candidato, partido o agrupación a la que pertenece.
