Colombia solicita asesoría al Museo de la Resistencia para proyecto de Museo de la Memoria en esa nación
Santo Domingo, domingo 7 de mayo de 2023.- El Centro Nacional de la Memoria Histórica de Colombia, institución en ese país que busca complementar el sistema de atención y reparación integral a las víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano, solicitó la colaboración y asesoría del Museo Memorial de la Resistencia Dominicana (MMRD) para la puesta en operación del Museo de la Memoria en Bogotá.
El Museo Memorial de la Resistencia es considerado uno de los mejores museos de memoria en el mundo y fue calificado como una institución de referencia por la UNESCO en el Foro de Alto Nivel para Museos de este organismo, mientras su colección está registrada como Memoria del Mundo, como patrimonio documental de significancia e influencia global.
Esta asesoría forma parte de los acuerdos de cooperación internacional que mantienen República Dominicana y Colombia, y que en el caso específico, de acuerdo al documento de solicitud, se enfocará en la experiencia del Museo de la Resistencia en la construcción de la memoria histórica, su trayectoria de buenas prácticas, aciertos, obstáculos, procesos exitosos de investigación, preservación del patrimonio tangible e intangible, comunicación educativa y relación con la comunidad.
Actualmente el Museo de la Memoria de Colombia se encuentra en una fase de configuración organizativa y operativa, previa a su apertura gradual, por lo que busca conocer cómo se han llevado a cabo procesos similares en entidades afines en otros lugares del mundo, desde el ámbito museológico y museográfico, tomando como referente al Museo Memorial de la Resistencia Dominicana, a través del cual se pueden identificar alternativas de trabajo conjunto a partir de experiencias vinculadas a los temas de memoria histórica, resistencias, conflicto armado y derechos humanos.
Al ser consultada, la directora fundadora del Museo de la Resistencia, Luisa De Pena Diaz, consideró como un gran reto la oportunidad de colaborar con una institución que sin lugar a dudas será un referente museológico por las características y complejidad del caso colombiano.
El Museo de Memoria de Colombia
La construcción del Museo de la Memoria de Colombia se definió en el marco de la Ley 1448, de 2011, o Ley de Víctimas y Restitución de Tierras, como una medida orientada a complementar el sistema de atención y reparación integral a las víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano.
Será un espacio para visibilizar las memorias plurales de las víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano y contribuir a la consolidación de una cultura de paz y convivencia que le permita a Colombia avanzar en el camino del desarrollo incluyente y equitativo en el que no haya lugar a la repetición de los hechos dolorosos que han afectado al país durante más de 6 décadas.
El acto legislativo 001 de 2017, mediante el cual se reglamenta el Acuerdo de Paz entre la guerrilla de las FARC y el Gobierno de Colombia, y la Ley de Paz Total de 2022, son algunos de los pilares del marco normativo que orientan al Centro Nacional de Memoria Histórica, CNMH, para construir y poner en funcionamiento el Museo de la Memoria de Colombia.
