Inaugurarán este sábado torneos presuperior y minibasket dedicado al Ministro de Deportes en Barahona

BARAHONA: Todo está listo para la inauguración este sábado de  los torneos pre superior y minibasket  de esta provincia, donde
participarán 50 equipos con dedicatoria al Ministro de Deportes Francisco Camacho.

Francisco Vargas (Pachico),  presidente  la Asociación de Baloncesto de la Provincia de Barahona (ASOBAPROBA), señaló que la dedicatoria al ministro de deportes es por su trayectoria deportiva, como atleta, entrenador y por sus aportes al deportes en los 8 meses que tiene al frente del Ministerio de Deportes.

«En el torneo participarán más de 600 atletas de los 25 clubes que componen la asociación de Baloncesto de esta provincia», subrayó Vargas.

Vargas dijo que el torneo está programado para iniciar a las 3 y 30 de la tarde  en el Palacio de los Deportes de Villa Central, con la
participación de conjuntos de los 11 municipios y los 11 distrito municipales de esta provincia.

El dirigente deportivo señaló que la justa deportiva se dividirá en 4 zonas, que la componen Barahona, la costa y la cuenca I y II y se
jugará en las diferentes canchas de la provincia y las series semifinal y final se jugarán  en el Palacio de los Deportes de Villa
Central.

Vargas dijo que a la inauguración han sido invitados el ministro Francisco Camacho, Rafael Uribe presidente de la FEDOMBAL, los
técnicos nacionales,  Melvin López, Fernando Teruel y José Maita Mercedes, el ex baloncelista Evaristo Pérez, el viceministro deportes para la región Sur  Kennedy Vargas, José Luis Ramírez (Borola), presidente de la Federación Dominicana de karate.

Las reglas del torneo incluirá un protocolo de salud que garantice medidas de protección contra el COVID-19, siguiendo las recomendaciones de las autoridades del ministerio de Salud Pública.

La comisión organizadora además de Vargas la componen Joel Herasme, Vidalin Cuevas, Osmar Alcántara, Bienvenido Matos Pérez, entre otros dirigentes deportivos de esta ciudad.

Los equipos ganadores serán premiados con trofeos y medallas.
