En medio de una intensa lluvia provocada por el paso de la tormenta tropical Franklin sobre territorio dominicano, el día de hoy, el diputado Rafael Castillo se hizo presente en el puesto de la Defensa Civil de Los Tres Brazos. Durante su visita, recibió un informe detallado sobre los acontecimientos ocurridos hasta la mañana del miércoles 22 de agosto. Además, tuvo la oportunidad de inspeccionar los refugios establecidos y posteriormente sostuvo una reunión con líderes comunitarios.

En un gesto de solidaridad, Castillo puso a disposición de los equipos de socorro y la comunidad en general los recursos de su equipo político. Durante su visita, estuvo acompañado por los regidores Winston Báez y Walkiria Medina, así como los aspirantes a ocupar la misma posición, Esterlina Aquino y José Luis Núñez, junto a otros líderes destacados de su equipo político.

La iniciativa de Rafael Castillo de brindar asistencia a las comunidades afectadas por fenómenos naturales en zonas vulnerables se ha convertido en una tradición en la que usualmente ha entregado alimentos, líquidos, frazadas y otros suministros necesarios, adaptados a las necesidades del momento.
