Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este y Fundación AES Dominicana inauguran sistema municipal de bandas musicales
MÁS DE 400 ESTUDIANTES SERÁN BENEFICIADOS DE INMEDIATO CON CLASES DE MÚSICA EN LOS TRES BRAZOS, CALERO, VILLA DUARTE, LOS MOLINOS, LOS FRAILES, VILLA FARO, SAN LUIS Y LA PARADA DE LA CULTURA FRENTE AL PARQUE DEL ESTE
El Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este y la Fundación AES Dominicana inauguraron este sábado el primer Sistema Municipal de Bandas de Música de República Dominicana, en el cual comenzarán a formarse de inmediato más de 400 niños y jóvenes de los diferentes barrios y sectores del municipio más poblado del país.
Las escuelas del nuevo sistema cuentan con un personal docente profesional y comenzarán a funcionar en Los Tres Brazos, Calero, Villa Duarte, Los Molinos, Los Frailes, Villa Faro, San Luis, Los Frailes II y en la Parada de la Cultura, frente al Parque del Este, y ofrecerán gratuitas a niños y jóvenes clases de flauta, saxofón, trompeta, guitarra, clarinete, piano, bongo, entre otros instrumentos. Los padres y madres podrán inscribir a niños y niñas a partir de los 8 años después de participar de las audiciones correspondientes.
El acto de inauguración del sistema fue celebrado en las aulas instaladas en la Parada de la Cultura, con la presencia del alcalde de Santo Domingo Este, Manuel Jiménez, la vicepresidenta de la Fundación AES Dominicana, Bredyg Disla; así como de ejecutivos del gobierno local y la organización sin fines de lucro.
“Estamos trabajando para construir una ciudad con identidad, con cultura y con oportunidades de desarrollo para todas las expresiones del talento humano. A partir de hoy los niños y las niñas de los barrios de Santo Domingo Este tendrán espacio para aprender, crear y expandir lo mejor de la música de nuestro país y del mundo. De eso se trata nuestra propuesta de Ciudad Justa y Creativa”, declaró el alcalde Manuel Jiménez al dejar inaugurado el sistema.
Disla por parte de la Fundación AES Dominicana, en representación de Edwin De los Santos, presidente de dicha entidad, indicó que “hoy es un día muy especial en el que damos apertura formal a un espacio que nace del compromiso de la Fundación AES Dominicana por aportar al desarrollo cultural del país, a través de su mayor activo, los niños y los jóvenes. Darles a ellos la oportunidad de aprender, es darle al país un futuro mejor”.
El Sistema Municipal de Bandas de Música de Santo Domingo Este es el fruto de un acuerdo entre la fundación y el Ayuntamiento, y será coordinado por el director de Cultura del Ayuntamiento, Guillermo Martínez.
Santo Domingo Este está reconocida por la Unesco como Ciudad Creativa de la Música.
