Ayuntamiento Santo Domingo Este aumenta recaudaciones en 182
EL ALCALDE MANUEL JIMÉNEZ APUESTA POR EL FORTALECIMIENTO DE LAS CAPACIDADES GERENCIALES Y OPERATIVAS DEL CABILDO
La responsable de recaudaciones del Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este, Miguelina de Castro, informó que después de eliminar la privatización ilegal del área de arbitrios la gestión del alcalde Manuel Jiménez cerrará el 2022 con un aumento de 182% en los ingresos.
Durante el acto de inauguración del nuevo y moderno Centro de Servicios del cabildo, Miguelina de Castro explicó que la mejora en las recaudaciones pasaron de alrededor de RD$150 millones al cierre del 2019 y se proyectarán en unos RD$424 millones al cierre de este año.
“Trabajamos bajo los principios de transparencia, eficiencia y eficacia, porque, como dice nuestro alcalde, tenemos el deber de demostrar que la mejor gerencia pública es la que recuerda que las instituciones son para servir a la ciudadanía”, dijo Miguelina de Castro durante el acto.
El Nuevo Centro de Servicios, dijo, ayudará a mejorar todavía más los ingresos, y permitirá que los munícipes puedan hacer sus pagos y despachar sus solicitudes en un ambiente acogedor, ágil, digitalizado y acorde a los más altos estándares de gestión pública.
Durante años, los arbitrios del Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este y otras áreas estratégicas estaban privatizados, con bajo rendimiento y beneficios para el cabildo y los munícipes.
El alcalde Manuel Jiménez decidió recuperarlo e ir mejorando progresivamente su desempeño hasta alcanzar altos niveles de eficacia y eficiencia.
Según ha informado el alcalde la mejora exponencial en los ingresos propios ha permitido aumentar la flotilla en los vehículos de trabajo en más de un 200%, aumentar el salario en hasta un 100% a los obreros, y reducir los altos niveles de endeudamiento acumulados durante más de una década en el Ayuntamiento.
